Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is REFGUIDI (Kaloum, Conakry, Guinea). For any question about your data: contact@refguidi.org.
Data we collect
We only collect the information you send us:
- Contribution: amount, name (unless anonymous), email address, chosen payment method and mobile money phone number.
- Membership: profile type, information about the activity (name, sector, city, description), main need, name, phone number and email.
- Contact: name, email and the content of your message.
No account is needed to contribute. REFGUIDI does not store any bank card data: payment is handled by the payment provider [to be specified].
Why we use it
- to record your contribution and send you your receipt by email;
- to review your membership request and reply to you;
- to answer your messages;
- to track project fundraising and report on it transparently (your name is never displayed if you choose to remain anonymous);
- to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Who has access
Your data is accessible to authorised REFGUIDI staff and to the service providers strictly necessary (payment, email delivery, hosting). It is never sold or transferred for commercial purposes.
Retention period
Data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose pursued: [periods to be confirmed, for example 5 years for contributions and 3 years for unsuccessful requests]. After that period it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, in accordance with the applicable Guinean personal data protection legislation. Write to us at contact@refguidi.org; we reply within a reasonable time.
Cookies and third-party services
The site does not use advertising cookies or audience measurement tools. Two external services may receive your IP address when you visit: Google Fonts (typefaces) and OpenStreetMap (map on the Contact page).
Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect your data (encrypted connection, restricted access). As no transmission over the Internet is completely secure, we encourage you to stay vigilant.
